Area Information - Lake of the Pines

Lake of The Pines is located just off of Hwy. 49 and is nestled in the Sierra Foothills northeast of Sacramento California. Lake of the Pines sits at an altitude of 1500 feet and is located just 11 miles north of Auburn and about 20 miles south of Grass Valley. The population was 3,956 at the 2000 census.
